Ingredientes: 1 - 2 elotes enteros 2 - 2 elotes raspados 3 - 6 Tazas de agua 4 - 2 1/2 cuharadas de azucar 5 - 1 taza de leche 6 - 1/2 cucharadita de sal 7 - 2 chucharadas de maizena 8 - 2 rajas de canela 9- 1 manta o colador para colar Instructions: 1 - Poner a fuego medio una hoya con los dos elotes enteros, las 6 tazas de agua, anadirle la 1/2 cucharadita de sal y dejarlos hervir hasta que el elote este completamente cocido. 2 - Poner en la licuadora los dos elotes raspados y anadirle 1 1/2 de agua, esta debe ser tomada de donde se cocieron los elotes. 3 - Despues de licuar el elote, decidir la concistencia que se le quiera dar al atol 4 - Si se quiere ralito agregar 1 taza de aguas de donde se cocieron los elotes a la mezcla ya licuada. y si se quiere espeso no agregarle mas agua a la mezcla ya licuada. 5 - Colar la mezcla, usando ya sea una manta o un colador. 6 - En una hoya aparte poner a tibiar la leche a fuego medio y poner el atol ya colado en otra hoya, tambien a fuego medio. 7 - Disolver la maizena con tres cucharadas de agua fria 7- Cuando el atol haya hervido, anadirle la leche ya calentada, el azucar, y la maizena ya disuelta. y dejar que el ato hierva nuevamente. 8 - Una vez haya hervido, esta listo para ser disfrutado, ya sea con maiz de elote salcochado o con tortitas de elote. 9 - Hay que tener en cuenta que cuando se cocina atol, hay que moverlo constantemente para que no se vaya aumar o quemar. Instructions: 1 - Pre-heat a pot on medium high heat, place 2 raw corns in the the pot with the 6 cups of water and the 1/2 tsp of salt. 2 - Bring the water to a boil and let it boil for about 10 more minutes. 3 - When the water with the corn has boiled, let the water cool down. 4 - Take 1 1/2 cup of that water and pour it into the blender with the shreded (uncooked) corn. 5 - Now, you will decide the consistency for you atol. If you want your atol thick don't add more water to the main mix. But If you want the Atol's consistency light, add 1 cup of the boiled water. 6 - Now, it is time to strain the mixture. you can use a straining cloth or a colander with fine holes. 7 - In a separate pot, put the milk on medium heat and heat it up. 8 - Heat the pot that you will use to cook the atol mixture, on medium heat too. 9 - Add 2 cinnamon sticks to the pot with the atol mixture. 10 - Stir, stir and stir. Stir constantly. In the meantime, dissolve the cornstarch with cold water. 11 - When the atol is boiling, add the milk, the sugar and the cornstarch. 12 - After you have added this ingredients let the atol boil again. 13 - Keep in mind that you have to move the atol constantly to prevent it from burning. 14 - When the atol has boiled again.
